Welcome to Vindue Maritime Services!
Our name, vindue, comes from an old Scandivanian word meaning 'eye to the wind' and is the basis for the English word, window. We strive to provide mariners with the 'window' they need to navigate, anchor, and enjoy the places they travel.
Our commitment is to enable mariners to practice safe navigation, to have up-to-date port and anchorage (both on the water and at shore) information, and to access this information either while connected to the Internet or downloaded for use on your boat.
Our Objectives
Accurate and timely information is the basis of safe navigation. Charts are one component necessary for safe navigation. Links for tides, currents, and weather provide information to guide navigation. Likewise, accurate and shared cruising information enables a mariner to make more informed and prudent decisions.
